California: Flight Operations

Job description:

- Assemble, preflight, launch, and recover planes in order to test and optimize Zipline's operational system and validate new engineering changes.
- Maintain the fleet of planes and ground equipment
- Run tests to validate system improvements, new technology, and new processes
- Constantly look for ways to optimize our processes, improve our hardware and software, and make operations easier and more efficient for operations centers around the world.
- Support Zipline's efforts to scale our operations to hundreds of distribution centers around the world.

Within 3 months you will...

    • Become fully certified on Zipline's operations - including fulfillment operations, flight operations, and maintenance
    • Leverage your unique experience and creativity to improve our operations and product to allow Zipline to better serve our customers

Within 6 months you will...

    • Know how to troubleshoot and resolve any off nominal situation
    • Drive major efficiency and product improvements via operations optimization and continuous improvement
    • Be a leader on the operations team in at least one area, such as technical maintenance, fulfillment operations, safety, process, metrics, etc.
    • Be prepared to visit our global distributions centers to roll out changes, start new centers, and train teams

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
